I was lucky. The sheer variety of nature captured my imagination when I was very young, and my life has been endlessly fascinating as a result. Now my mission is to open more eyes to the wonders of nature. Through my books, magazine articles, public speaking, the internet, and our initiatives with music, I want to share the remarkable diversity of the natural world with everyone.
Canada Warbler. More widespread than its name suggests, it nests in Canada and in much of the eastern U.S., and winters mostly in South America.
