Since about 1980, I've given hundreds of talks at bird club conventions, nature festivals, museum lecture series, and other venues. In the fall of 2000 I spoke in almost 40 cities around the U.S., and since then I've cut back somewhat in order to have time to work on book projects, but I still enjoy traveling to talk to groups.
